The Clarisonic Mia is the compact version of the original facial scrubber, but still has some of the original features that made this a huge hit; it can be set to two different speeds, you can use a a one-minute pulsing T-Timer for the t zone, and you can use sensitive skin brushes (softer) if your skin is sensitive (mine is.) There is a travel case for those of use who don't leave home without it. The peacock color is a nice teal green, and it's great to have colors; the original Clarisonics are larger and came only in "clinical" white.
I happen to like this for cleaning my neck area. Sometimes, it's hard to soap up and get out the grime that settles in (well, let's be frank here) WRINKLES and I know if I've been out digging in what passes for my garden (what the neighbors decry as a patch of weeds, in actuality) or hiking or walking the Dog on a dusty path, I need to really scrub that area when I shower at home later. I also like it for really removing foundation and residue of makeup. Even after I wash my face with regular cleaner and water, if I rub with a washcloth, I sometimes find a residue of makeup left behind. The Mia takes this off nicely.
Your mother TOLD YOU never to go to bed wearing makeup. So, here's a nice way to make sure you never, ever do.
This version, the Mia 2 comes with case and universal voltage charger but there are quite a few versions of Clarisonic, so it's sometimes confusing. The Mia is single speed with universal charger, the Mia 2 (this one) has an enhanced mode of low and normal speed, the Aria has low, normal and high, USB charger and drying stand, Plus has Low, normal and high speeds plus Body Mode (normal and pulse), a universal stand-charger, and the Pro version has Low, normal, high and pro speeds plus Body Mode (normal and pulse), and the universal charging-drying stand.
